The Goodwill gods smiled on me this week
Last week, I spent a lot of time shopping, prepping and planning my son Patrick’s fourth birthday party. On Friday, I decided to make a quick pitstop at Goodwill while running errands. I had been there the week before on my birthday but had zero birthday luck. This trip, however, was one of my most successful trips to date!
My finds:
Adorable little chinoiserie bowl. I filled it with water and added fresh roses and orchids. I think this is the same one on Etsy.
Mid-century brass cats. I got them for $2.99 each. I am so obsessed with these and they are listed for as much as $75 on other sites. They look so cute on the black marble shelves in my basement bathroom. Buy a similar pair on etsy here.
Two of these gorgeous Williams Sonoma Famille Rose salad plates for $5.99 each. They had the original price tags on them for $18.95/ea. These are so beautiful in person and I am planning to hang them on the wall. You can purchase these here.
Vintage Chelsea House butterfly platter. The raised details are beautiful and the colors are so vibrant. I linked several options here if you’d like to purchase one. I might sell mine!
Something about this little weirdo made me stop. Maybe the brass. Maybe the marble. Was it a golden snitch, a rabbit? Turns out this little guy is a replica of a Gaston Lachaise sculpture from the 1970s, and its selling for as much as $595 online! I l linked a few resale options here.
How fun are they all together?! I can’t wait to show you them after I’ve styled them throughout my home.
