Tips for your Thanksgiving tablescape

Shop the produce section.
Florals are my obvious answer for bringing life to a tablescape; however, seasonal produce is a close second. For fall, I chose mini pumpkins, gourds, and butternut squash to bring in white, yellow, orange, and green into my tables. Apples and grapes could also be fun, think cornucopia!

2. Raid your mom’s/grandma’s/aunt’s China cabinet
You may be lucky enough to have a family member with crystal and china just waiting to be used. When my grandmother passed, she left me her China and Waterford crystal which I use all the time. For a Christmas table, I borrowed my mom’s China as it has the richer colors that I was looking for. Pieces like these stand the test of time and deserve to be enjoyed and used to create new memories. If you don’t have any family pieces, check out Goodwill for China and Crystal.

3. Use everyday objects in a new way.
I got these pheasants on Facebook Marketplace with the intention of using them as bookshelf decor. On a normal day, they hang out on my bookshelves, but I pulled them on to my table when I saw how beautifully the colors went together. If you have a lot of random shit in your house like I do, take a closer look and you may find something that could complete your tablescape.
